A Way Back

WOW, I never think will read my blog again after almost 2 years. There is a very good feel when read my post almost 2 years ago, and know my though at that time. Now 2 years had elapsed since my interest with mobile tech and the future of it. Very interesting to know that nothing much has changed, my perspective, though, interest, still the same, and somehow I think mobile industry as well. There is no major breakthrough yet.
I have been screwing around after my post 2 years ago, working with quite a few different companies and industries! I believe when I wrote that post, never realize that i can be in Singapore as now. Ok, enough for the nostalgia.
Currently I see that major change will comes to mobile services. There are few areas have been developed restlessly such as location based, augmented reality, mobile online store, mobile social network etc, etc. Anyway, I going to get android phone by next week, and see what could be done with that. Idea of letting the demand exposed to supply and vice versa seems to be still relevant. Mobile will lets it happen everywhere, and anytime, even realtime! But it could be long term purpose.
At the moment, integration between mobile and cloud computing looks promising and able to deliver totally new experience. A big world in a small device at our hand!

Tomorrow's direction

Todays, internet has changes the way we talk, the way we communicate, the way we make friends, the way we work, and the way we live. Internet has made significant sifting in our culture and boosting a great opportunities for everyone who is aware of this opportunities.
Now, we are going to undergo other major shifting, what is that? Yes, mobile devices, we even hard to imagine live without it. Mobile devices become more and more convergence with internet, which will create more opportunities  and enable more flexible way to do things.
Today convergence not yet at its peaks, although we have seen many effort from telco industry to make it a way of life. Mobile internet price getting cheaper and also getting a lot faster after the release of 3G, and now 3.5G, then 4G in 2010 (I guess). This will impose the accessibility of internet to everyone, and also everywhere.
People will getting more and more connected wherever they are, and whatever they do. There is a huge opportunities to provide the infrastructure needed to make it possible. Imagine if every demand of anything can be exposed to every supply without any boundaries of country, and every supply exposed to every demand. We will enter perfect competitiveness era, and the most efficient way of creating value.

Little though to Soros's theory

Recently I had just read several soros's books, The Alchemy of Finance and New Paradigm for Financial Market.
He did a very good attempt to explain his idea about reflexivity in  financial market. I am not an economist, but i have seen major convergence between his theory and modern natural science, especially physics, which I took as my major in undergraduate study.
His reflective theory state that market participant can't have a perfect knowledge about the market since their effort to understand the market will distort the market and in the mean time the distorted market will influence their understanding. This will form a cyclic process.
I think his though has somewhat close relationship with modern physics.
